BL-203 is straight chained hydrogen- terminated dimethyl polysiloxane. As there is fair quantity of relatively active Si-H bonds in the molecule, under the action of catalysts it can react with chemicals containing active groups such as double bonds or hydroxyl groups.

Application

Hydrogen terminated silicone oil is a polysiloxane that uses the Si-H bond on its end group to introduce silicon hydrogen bond at the end chain through hydrosilylation. It is the key starting material and important silicone intermediate for the production of silicone modified block or graft copolymer.
